Speed training for every sport — built by a varsity track coach and All-American athlete. NTSA uses elite track methodology to make multi-sport athletes faster, more explosive, and more coordinated.
North Texas Speed Academy is not a track club. It is a credentialed speed and athleticism development program that uses track methodology to make multi-sport athletes faster — regardless of what sport they play.
Football. Soccer. Basketball. Baseball. Lacrosse. Every sport rewards athletes who can accelerate faster, change direction quicker, and sustain speed longer. That is what we build.
The DFW market is full of performance gyms. None are led by a credentialed, All-American track athlete who also coaches varsity. That difference is everything.
Coach Bannister is an All-American track athlete — competing at the highest collegiate level in the 4x400 relay and 400mH. He brings that same standard of excellence to every athlete he coaches.
As an active varsity track coach at Plano East Senior High School and a USATF certified coach, he understands both the technical demands of elite speed development and how to communicate those skills to young athletes effectively.
NTSA was built on one conviction: speed is a skill, and every athlete can develop it — regardless of what sport they play.
One program. Two session options. Same training, same coaching, same results — pick the days that fit your schedule.
One unified group. Football players, soccer players, basketball players, sprinters — the methodology works regardless of your sport.
Complete all three steps. Your spot is confirmed after payment. Limited to 20 athletes per session.

Coach Bannister also operates a certified FAT timing service built specifically for Texas high school football programs.
UIL track meets limit the 100m to six athletes per event. Football players rarely get a lane. The 100 Combine fixes that — giving every athlete a FinishLynx FAT-certified time published permanently to MileSplit. Three sessions per year, unlimited athletes, Varsity through 7th grade.
